Karachi: Leading Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has delighted fans with candid revelations about her personal life and career plans, sharing that her “crush” is none other than her husband.

Speaking during a private TV talk show, Mahira responded to a playful audience question—who she has a crush on despite being admired nationwide—by smilingly naming her spouse, drawing applause from the crowd.

Beyond the lighthearted moment, the superstar also raised serious concerns about the state of the entertainment industry. She stressed that artists in Pakistan deserve royalties for their work, noting that such systems are standard practice globally.

“I’m not saying we should work exactly like Hollywood, but at least artists don’t go hungry there,” she remarked, highlighting financial struggles within the industry. Mahira added that while established actors may manage, junior artists and technicians often face severe economic challenges.

Sharing personal preferences, the actress revealed she enjoys Eid-ul-Fitr more than Eid-ul-Adha. She also fondly spoke about fellow actor Fahad Mustafa, recalling how he once gifted her sunglasses and later slippers.
